Invisible Athlete Training

Launched in 2015 by Derek Swartout-Mosher, Invisible Athlete Training trains athletes how to apply mental skills to build confidence, increase focus, reduce stress and anxiety, and enhance performance mindset. Swartout-Mosher currently works as a mental skills coach for the New York Mets and has worked with a diverse range of athletes from across the globe in a variety of sports. As a graduate with a Master’s degree from John F. Kennedy University in Sport Psychology, his professional experience includes work with Division I, II, and III men’s and women’s collegiate athletes, high school amateurs, and professional baseball. Derek has played an integral role in the mental development and maturation of many athletes who aspire to be the best at what they do.

Derek received his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University where he also played three years for the Western Michigan Baseball team. His combination of competitive and professional experience has provided the skills to effectively deliver his service to athletes in need. Derek currently resides in Kalamazoo, MI during the baseball off-season with his wife, Elise.

Founded by former NFL quarterback Tim Hiller, Next Level Performance was founded to develop purpose driven athletes through impactful training sessions and leadership development programs. Its baseball division, led by State of Michigan Honorable Mention Coach of the Year, Mike Webster, brings a dedicated focus on the fundamental skills to every position. In addition, Next Level provides certified strength and conditioning training.
